3 resorts gutted in fire at Sajek valley

Three resorts, a restaurant and a house were gutted as a fire broke out at Sajek valley in Baghaichhari upazila of Rangamati early today.

On information, Dighinala fire service, army and local people doused the fire in three hours.

The reason behind the fire could not be known.

Nasir Uddin Pintu, owner of the ‘Chilekotha’ restaurant, said the fire originated on the ground floor of Obokash resort around 3:30am that engulfed the other buildings. 

Baghaichhari Upazila Nirbahi Officer Shariful Haque confirmed the matter to Jago News.
