Bus owners decide to take half fare

Bus Owners Association have decided to take half fare from the students in the capital. 

Awami League (AL) General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Tuesday said this at a joint meeting of AL central leaders, leaders of its Dhaka city unit and top leaders of its associate bodies in Dhanmondi.

However, Khandaker Enayet Ullah, Secretary General of the Dhaka Road Transport Owners’ Association, said at a press conference that the receiving of half fare from students will be effective from December 1.  

He said, the receiving of half fare will be run from 7am to 8pm but it would not work in the weekend.
