Nisha meets 3 diplomats

Visiting US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Nisha Desai Biswal on Monday exchanged views with the high commissioners of UK, Canada and Australia.

The meeting was organized at the residence of US ambassador to Bangladesh Marcia Stephens Bloom Bernicat in city’s Gulshan area in the morning.

Later, she visited the Holey Artisan Bakery in Gulshan where militants killed 22 people including 17 foreigners and two police officers on July 1.

Earlier, Nisha arrived in Dhaka on Sunday morning. Later, she held a meeting with foreign minister AH Mahmood Ali around 3:00pm following a meeting with foreign secretary Shahidul Haque around 12:30pm.
