SSC examinee hacked dead in broad daylight

A Secondary School Certificate examinee was hacked to death in broad daylight in Chuadanga district town on Sunday afternoon over a previous enmity.

Deceased Tonmoy Ahmed Topu, 17, was an SSC examinee from Al Helal Islamia Academy in the town and son of Abdul Mazid, a resident of Nurnagar Colonypara under Chuadanga municipality. 

Police and witnesses said several young men hacked Tonmoy at the school premises around 12:30 pm, leaving him critically wounded.

Later, he was rushed to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital where the on-duty doctors declared him dead. 

Friends of the deceased said Tonmoy had an enmity with an outsider because they both loved a girl. 

As a sequel to, Imon and Shihab of Firmpara, Akash of Shantipara and Rupak of Muslimpara in the town hacked Tonmoy with sharp weapons when he was talking to the lover at the school premises.
