Adyan Mart CEO, 3 others arrested

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-6 have arrested four people including the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Adyan Mart, an ecommerce site, Jubayer Siddiki in Chuadanga.

The elite force said this at a press conference at RAB-6 office in Jhenaidah at 10am on Saturday. 

The other arrestees are Jubayer’s father Abu Bakkar Siddiki, his brother Ratan Siddiki and Adyan Mart’s Manager Minarul Islam. 

In this connection, RAB-6 commander Major Shariful Ahsan, said acting on a tip off, they conducted a drive at the office of Adyan Mart on Friday afternoon and arrested Jubayer’s brother, father and his company’s Manager. Later, they also arrested Jubayer from Khulna. 

“Based on specific allegations, we conducted the drive. There are several cases against them,” he said.
