6-murder in Rohingya camp: Case filed, 10 arrested

Ten people have been arrested in a case filed over the murder of six teachers and students of Darul Ulum Nadwatul Olama Al-Islamiah Madrasa at Balukhali camp in Ukhiya of Cox’s Bazar.

They were arrested in several drives from Friday to Saturday afternoon.  

Shihab Kaisar Khan, Commander of 8 Armed Police Battalion, confirmed the matter to Jago News on Sunday. 

He said, Nurul Islam, father of murdered Azizul Haque, filed the case against 25 named people and 200 to 250 unnamed people with Ukhiya Police Station.

The arrestees are Mojibur Rahman, 19, Dilder Mabud alias Parvez, 32, Mohammad Aiyub, 37, Ferdous Amin, 40, Abdul Mojid, 24, Mohammad Amin, 35, Mohammad Younus alias Foyez, 25, Zafar Alam, 45, Mohammad Jahid, 40, Mohammad Amin, 48.  

To be noted, the six teachers and students were shot by some miscreants early hours of Friday. Later, they was slaughtered and hacked.
