Labour law violation: Dr Younus gets bail

A court has granted bail to Grameen Telecom Chairman and Nobel Laureate Dr Muhammad Yunus and three others in a case filed over the violation of labour law.
Dhaka’s Labour Court-2 passed the order on Tuesday after they surrendered before it seeking bail in the case.
The other accused are Grameen Telecom Managing Director Md Ashraful Hasan, board directors Nur Jahan Begum and Md Shahjahan.
Earlier on September 9, Arifuzzaman, Labour Inspector of the Department of Factories and Establishments, filed the case with the court.
Later, the court issued summons to the four to appear before it by October 12.
