Man found hanging in in-laws' home

Police recovered the body of a man from his in-laws' home in Melandaha upazila of Jamalpur district on Saturday morning.

Deceased Samir Molla, 55, was a resident of Charpolisha village in the upazila.

Police and locals said Samir locked into an altercation with his wife Khursheda Begum at in-laws' house in the same village on Friday and beat up her, leaving her injured.

On the following day, locals spotted his hanging body in a bamboo bush near in-laws' house and informed the police.

Later, police recovered the body and sent it to hospital for autopsy.

Melandaha Police Station officer in-charge SM Moynul Islam said an unnatural death case was filed in this connection.
