Mohib Ullah murder: 2 more Rohingyas detained

Two more Rohingya people have been detained on suspicion of involvement in the killing of Rohingya leader Mohib Ullah in Ukhiya upazila of Cox’s Bazar.  

A team of Armed Police Battalion (APBn)-14 conducted a drive at Kutupalong Rohinga camp and detained them early Saturday. 

They are Ziaur Rahman and Abdus Salam. They were handed over to Ukhiya Police Station.  

Naemul Haque, Superintendent of APBn-14, confirmed the matter to Jago News. 

He said, three people have been detained so far over the murder. The drive is underway to detain the rest accused in the murder case. 

Earlier on Friday, APBn detained Mohammad Selim alias Lomba Selim and handed over him to Ukhiya Police Station.

On Wednesday night, Mohib Ullah was shot by some miscreants at his office. Later, he was declared dead after APBn members rushed him to MSF hospital.
