Another case filed against Evaly CEO, 19 others

Evaly CEO Md Rassel and its nineteen officials have been sued in another case filed over embezzlement of money.

A man named Md Kamrul Islam Chakdar filed the case with Dhanmandi Police Station on Saturday midnight.  

Confirming the matter to Jago News, Ikram Ali Miah, officer-in-charge of the police station, said the case was filed against twelve named persons and eight unnamed persons.

“The complainant alleged that he supplied goods worth around Tk 35 lakh but the e-commerce site did not pay him,” the OC said.

The twelve persons are Evaly CEO Md Rassel, his wife and chairman Shamima Nasrin, Vice President Akash, Manager Jahedul Islam Hemoy, Senior Accounts Manager Tanveer Alam, Senior Executive Commercial Jawadul Haque Chowdhury, Head of Accounts Selim Reza, Accounts Manager Jubayer Al Mahmud, Accounts Department Officer Sohel, Akibur Rahman Turjo, Rassel’s PS Md Rezwan and Bike Sakib Rahman.

On September 16, a case was filed against Rassel and his wife Shamima with Gulshan Police Station over embezzlement of money. Later, RAB conducted a raid at their house in the capital’s Mohammadpur and arrested them.
