Two Bangladeshis killed in Bahrain road accident

Five people, including two Bangladeshi nationals, have been killed in a road accident in Bahrain.

Deceased Bangladeshis were identified as Shohag Hossain, 37, from Deshgaon village under Hajiganj Police Station in Chandpur district, and Dadun, 35, from Ukilkandi village under Shibchar Police Station in Madaripur district.

Out of the other dead, two were Pakistani citizens and the rest could not be identified yet.

A truck rammed into a private car in Salman Industrial City on Monday evening, leaving five dead and one injured.

Bangladesh Ambassador to Bahrain Dr Mohammad Nazrul Islam said he was informed about the incident, and he talked to the owner of the company where the late Bangladeshis worked.

Bangladesh Embassy will cooperate to realize all dues of the deceased and send their bodies to the respective families, he added.
