12 die at RMCH’s corona unit

Twelve people died at the Corona unit of Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital (RMCH) in the last 24 hours.  

Brig Gen Shamim Yazdani, Director of RMCH, confirmed the deaths to Jago News.

He said, 12 people died at the different wards of the Corona unit from 8am on Friday to 8am on Saturday. Four of them died from the disease and the rest eight dies with its symptoms.

Of the deceased, three were from Rajshahi, two each from Chapainawabganj, Kushtia, Pabna, one each from Natore, Naogaon and Sirajganj, he said. 

He also said, 43 new Corona patients were admitted to the hospital in the last 24 hours. 29 were discharged from the hospital. 203 Corona patients and 204 with its symptoms are receiving treatment at the hospital.
