Mass vaccination begins

The mass vaccination campaign for Coronavirus has begun across the country.

The vaccination began at 9am today and will continue till August 12.   

The vaccines are being given simultaneously at 4,600 unions, 1,054 municipalities and 433 wards of the city corporations.  

A total of 32,706 immunization workers and 48,459 volunteers are currently working for the vaccination campaign.   

Bangladesh launched its nationwide vaccination program on February 7. More than 14 million doses of four types of vaccines have been administered to date, including the first and second doses.
