2 associates of Helena Jahangir arrested

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have arrested two associates of suspended member of an Awami League subcommittee Helena Jahangir who was recently arrested over spreading propaganda and misleading information on social media platforms.

The arrestees are Hajera Khatun and Sanaullah Nuree. 

Confirming the arrests to Jago News, Assistant Superintendent of Police ANM, Imran Khan Senior Director of RAB’s legal and media wing, said they conducted a raid at Gabtoli area in the capital and arrested the duo early Tuesday.

Further details regarding them will be disclosed at a press conference to be held at RAB’s media centre in the afternoon.
