Ishrat Rafiq put on 6-day remand
A court in Dhaka has placed Ishrat Rafiq Eshita and her associate Shahidul Islam Didar on a 6-day remand in three cases filed over narcotics and fraudulence.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Ashek Imam passed the order on Monday afternoon.
Earlier on Sunday morning, Members of RAB-4 arrested Ishrat and Didar from Mirpur. Fake identity cards, visiting cards, certificates, passports, yaba pills, foreign liquor were recovered from their possession during that time.
On Monday morning, they were sued in three cases filed with Shah Ali Police Station.
In this connection, Assistant Superintendent of Police ANM Imran Khan, Assistant Director of RAB headquarters’ media wing said they filed two cases against Ishrat under the Narcotics Control Act and Digital Security Act. Apart from, a fraud case was also filed against her.
