194 more hospitalized with dengue fever in 24 hrs

As many as 194 people with dengue fever were admitted to different hospitals in and outside the capital in the last 24 hours until Thursday morning.

With this, a total of 642 patients diagnosed with the mosquito-borne disease are taking treatment at different hospitals. Among them, a vast number of patients are taking treatment in the capital, according to the Directorate General of Health Services.

DGHS said a total of 2,292 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country as of today since January 1 this year. Out of them, 1,646 recovered.
