Coronavirus: 14 die at Mymensingh hospital

Fourteen people died at the Corona unit of Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital (MMCH) in the last 24 hours. Two of them died from the disease and the twelve died with its symptoms. 

The deceased were identified as Naznin, 58, Jesmin, 45, Nasrin, 38, Ilma, 24, Rabeya, 74, Abdur Raouf, 55, Azizunnesa, 92, Nurjahan, 75, Afazuddin, 85, Ratna, 32, Abdul Mannaf, 60, Razia, 70, Mrinal, 60 and Abdur Razzak, 75. 

Dr Mohiuddin Khan Mun, Focal person of MMCH’s Corona unit, confirmed the deaths to Jago News on Saturday morning.

He said, 426 people are receiving treatments at the Corona unit of MMCH. Of them, 22 people are on life support at the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital. 66 new patients were admitted to the hospital and 17 were discharged.
