19 more die at RMCH Corona unit

Nineteen people died at the Corona unit of Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital (RMCH) in the last 24 hours. Five of them died from the disease and fourteen others died with its symptoms. 

Confirming the matter to Jago News, Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani, Director of RMCH, said that these people died at the different wards of the Corona unit from 8am on Wednesday to 8am on Thursday. 

Of the deceased, six each were from Rajshahi, Pabna, three from Chapainawabganj, two each from Natore and Naogaon. 

In the last 24 hours, 56 patients were admitted at the Corona unit and 45 others were discharged from the hospital. 251 Corona patients and 256 with its symptoms are receiving treatment at the hospital, he said.
