The irregularities in food distribution among the coronavirus patients at Adhunik Sadar Hospital, Thakurgaon have been found true in the statement of the case filed following the publication of a report on the wrongdoing.

In the case statement, the plaintiff admitted an anomaly in food distribution. "Though a little anomaly has happened in food distribution in a day or two in June, food is being given to the patients properly as per the government allotment."

He said he came to know the information talking to the representatives of the contracting organization, the hospital chef, and the patients after different media, including Jago News, published a report in this regard.

Earlier on Saturday afternoon, Adhunik Sadar Hospital, Thakurgaon supervisor Md Nadirul Aziz filed the case against three journalists with Sadar Police Station under the Digital Security Act for publishing a report on the irregularities.

In the lawsuit, the district correspondent of Jago News Tanveer Hasan Tanu was arrested, and today was produced before a court in the district with a remand plea but the court granted bail to him.
