19 die at RMCH’s Corona unit

Nineteen people died at the Corona unit of Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital (RMCH) in the last 24 hours. Five of them died of Coronavirus and the rest fourteen died with its symptoms.

Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani, Director of RMCH, confirmed the deaths to Jago News on Tuesday morning. 

He said, nineteen people died at different wards of the Corona unit from 8am on Monday to 8am on Tuesday. Of them, thirteen are male and six are female. Their ages are between 35 and 65 years.

In the last 24 hours, ten of the deceased were from Rajshahi, two each from Natore, Naogaon, one each from Chapainawabganj, Pabna, Kushtia, Chuadanga and Joypurhat.
