Moghbazar blast: Death toll rises to 9

The death toll from explosion in a building in the capital’s Moghbazar has risen to 9 as one more person died on Wednesday morning.

Imran, 25, breathed his last at 6:40am while undergoing treatment at Sheikh Hasina Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute.

Confirming the death to Jago News, a doctor of the institute, said Imran had 90 percent burn injuries. 

Earlier on Tuesday, the members of fire service recovered one dead body from the wreckage of the building. 

To be noted, seven people died and more than fifty people were injured after an explosion in a building in Moghbazar on Sunday evening.
