Three-day transport shutdown from Monday

The public transport services will remain shut during the three-day 'limited scale' coronavirus lockdown starting from Monday.   

The Cabinet Division issued a gazette notification in this regard on Sunday.

The notification said the lockdown will remain effective from 6am on Monday to 6am on Thursday.

During the period, only goods-laden vehicles and rickshaws will be allowed to ply.

The public and private offices will remain open but shopping malls, markets, tourist spots, resorts, community centers, and recreation places stay closed. 

The food shops, hotels and restaurants can only sell/supply (Takeaway/Online) foods from 8am to 8pm.
