Man held with drugs in Feni

The members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have detained a man alongwith drugs worth around Tk 4 lakh in Feni district.

Detained Md Sujan, 27, hails from Gandhasri village in Chauddagram upazila of Cumilla district.

The elite force nabbed him alongwith 25 kgs hemp in Mohipal area on the Dhaka-Chattogram highway, sources in RAB-7 said.

The acting commanding officer of the camp Md Junaid Jahedi said the detainee was handed over to Feni Model Police Station.

The police station officer in-charge Md Nazim Uddin said held Sujan was, however, sent to jail on Saturday following a court order.
