Missing Abu Taw Haa found
Islamic preacher Abu Taw Haa Muhammad Adnan was found in Rangpur city on Friday afternoon, seven days after he had gone missing.
Confirming the matter to Jago News, Kotwali Police Station officer in-charge Abdur Rashid said later, they took him into their custody around 3pm from his father-in-law's house at Master Para in the city around 3pm.
Earlier, neighbour Biplob Mia said he saw Abu Taw Haa entering his father-in-law Azharul Islam Mondal's home around 12:30pm.
The Islamic' speaker's lawyer Barrister M Sorwar Rahman told Jago News that he was informed about the finding of his client and three others' whereabouts.
In this regard, Rangpur Metropolitan Police (RMP) crime division deputy commissioner Abu Maruf Hossain said Abu Taw Haa has been found.
Earlier on June 10, Abu Taw Haa along with three others went missing from Dhaka's Gabtoli area when he was returning from Rangpur, family members said.
Following his going missing, his wife and mother filed written complaints to the police in Rangpur and Dhaka.
