13 die at Rajshahi medical’s corona unit

Thirteen people died at the Coronavirus unit of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) from 9 am on Saturday to 9am on Sunday. Of them, six died of Coronavirus and the rest died from its symptoms. 

Dr Saiful Ferdous, Deputy Director of RMCH, confirmed the matter to Jago News. 

Of the deceased, six are from Chapainawabganj, three from Naogaon, two from Rajshahi, one each from Natore and Kushtia, said the Dr Saiful.  

However, 174 people died at RMCH’s Corona unit and ICU in 21 days from May 24 to June 13.

To be noted, the local administration has imposed a lockdown in Rajshahi to stop current spread of Coronavirus from June 11 to June 17.
