Auto-rickshaw driver's throat-slit body recovered

Police on Saturday morning recovered the throat-slit body of an auto-rickshaw driver in Birampur upazila of Dinajpur district.

Deceased Rezaul Karim, 37, was the son of late Rozob Ali, a resident of Shantinagar area in the upazila.

The locals spotted the slaughtered body in Shimaltali Garer Par area this morning and informed the police. Later, the body was recovered, said Birampur Police Station inspector (investigation) Motiar Rahman.

The police station officer in-charge Suman Kumar Mohanta said the body was sent to Dinajpur Medical College Hospital morgue.
