Student found dead in septic tank

Police have recovered the body of a college student from an abandoned septic tank in Tarakanda upazila of Mymensingh district on Saturday afternoon.
Deceased Shahinur Alam alias Iqbal, 19, was a student of civil engineering at Rumdo Polytechnic Institute, Mymensingh. He was son of Abdur Rauf, resident of Palashkanda village in the upazila.
Tarakanda Police Station officer in-charge Abul Khair confirmed the matter to Jago News.
Earlier on Wednesday, a general diary was filed with the police station saying that Iqbal went missing on Tuesday night.
