The government has extended the ongoing restrictions till May 30 from May 24 to contain the current spread of Coronavirus.  

All kinds of transports including inter-district buses, launches and trains have been allowed to ply. 

The cabinet division issued a gazette notification in this regard on Sunday.

The ongoing restrictions started from April 14 for eight days. Later, it was extended until 23 May in phases.

To be noted, Bangladesh reported 38 deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, raising the death toll to 12,348.

Besides, 1,028 new cases were detected over the same period, raising the total number of infections to 7,87,726 across the country so far.
