Buddhist monk receives death threat
Monk Suddhananda Mahather of Buddhist monastery of the capital’s Sobujbag area has been given death threat over a letter sent by post on Tuesday.
One A B Siddique’s name from Gazipur was mentioned on the letter as sender of it.
In this connection, a general diary was filed with Sabujbag Police Station on Tuesday night.
Officer-in-Charge of the Police Station Abdul Quddus Fakir said Suddhananda himself filed a General Diary in this regard. Police was trying to unearth who sent the letter and issued death threat.
