5 burnt in Narayanganj fire caused by gas leak

Five people have been burnt in a fire triggered by a leak in a gas pipeline at a dyeing factory in the Nayabari area of Narayanganj port early today, reports BSS. 

The victims are - Alam, Nazir, Helencha, Bashir, and Mehedi.

The burn victims were admitted to the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery (SHNIBPS).

Partha Shankar Paul, duty doctor of the institute, told BSS that the victims are undergoing treatment.

According to the locals, around 5 am today, a fire broke out, apparently caused by the leak in the gas pipe, burning the factory workers sleeping there.
