2 killed in Faridpur road accident

Two people were killed as a truck fell into a road side ditch at Bhabukdia area on Dhaka-Barisal highway in Nagarkanda upazila of Faridpur district on Tuesday morning.
The deceased were identified as Ujjal Sharif, 45, driver of the truck and Babul Mallah, 30, helper of the truck.
Officer-in charge of Bhanga Highway Police Camp Hossain Sarkar said the accident took place while the stone laden truck fell into a road side ditch after its driver lost his control over the wheels at the area in the morning, leaving the duo dead on spot.
On information police rushed in and recovered the bodies.
