Jago News DU correspondent's father dies

Safiur Rahman Bhuiyan, father of online news portal Jago News' Dhaka University correspondent Al Sadi Bhuiyan, has passed away.

He breathed his last around 11:30am on Friday at his home at Bhadeshwara village in Sadar upazila of Brahmanbaria district. He aged 74.

He had, however, been suffered from a breathing problem for the last couple of days.

Safiur Rahman left behind his wife, children, relatives, and numerous well-wishers to mourn.

With a view to spreading the light of education, he established Children Park Kindergarten Care School (Bangla medium), and Addendum International School (English medium) in his own village.

Besides, he was involved in various social and religious activities in the locality.

Jago News family expressed profound shock and sorrow at his death.

Ziaul Haque, the acting editor of the portal, sought pardon for his departed soul, and showed sympathy to the bereaved family.
