IU professor Ahsan Ullah dies of Coronavirus

Dr Muhammad Ahsan Ullah, professor of Dawah and Islamic Studies Department of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia, died of Coronavirus on Wednesday night. 

He breathed his last around 11pm on the way to Dhaka.  

Dr Oliullah, chairman of the Dawah department, confirmed his colleague’s death to Jago News.  

His namaz-e-janaza and burial will be held at Begumganj in Noakhali, according to his family.

However, IU authorities, teachers association and IU alumni association expressed their deep shocks at the death of Ahsan Ullah.
