Another 2 held over Mitu killing

Police arrested another two suspected persons in connection with the killing of Mahmuda Khanom Mitu, wife of superintendent of police Babul Akter.

A team of police arrested them from Bakalia Thana area in Chittagong on Monday night.

The deceased are Ehteshamul Haque Bhola and Monir. Further details about them could not be known immediately.

Investigation officer and Assistant Commissioner of Chittagong Metropolitan DB police Md. Kamruzzaman said, Bhola and Monir took part to kill Mitu.

On June 5, three assailants stabbed and shot Mitu dead when she was taking her son to his school bus stop at GEC intersection in the port city.
