Tremor jolts Bangladesh

An earthquake hit different places of the country, including the capital of Dhaka, on Wednesday morning.

It was felt around 8:23 am.

The magnitude of the tremor was 6.0 in the Richter Scale and it was located in the Indian state of Assam, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).

However, no casualty or damage was reported immediately.
