Mamunul Haque put on 4-day remand

Former Joint Secretary General of Hefazat-e-Islam Mamunul Haque has been placed on a four-day remand in two cases filed with Motijheel and Paltan Police Stations.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Sadbeer Yeasir Ahsan Chowdhury passed the order on Monday.
Earlier, police produced him before the court after the completion of the 7-day remand in a sabotage case filed with Mohammadpur Police Station.
On April 19, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate court granted seven-day remand for him in two cases filed over vandalism and sabotage activities.
On April 18, Dhaka Metropolitan Police arrested him from Jamia Rahmania Arabia Madrasa in the capital’s Mohammadpur.
