Domestic flights to resume from Wednesday
The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) has decided to resume flight operations on all domestic routes from Wednesday on a limited scale.
In a notice issued on Tuesday, it said the flights approved in special consideration can transport passengers but the expatriate workers will get priority.
Earlier on April 5, CAAB suspended flight operations in all domestic routes in line with the government restrictions imposed to limit the alarming rise of coronavirus cases.
Later, the organization halted flight services on both domestic and international routes from April 14 to April 20.
The latest decision came when the government extended the ongoing lockdown to April 28.
