Ex-Law Minister Abdul Matin Khasru dies

Former Law Minister Advocate Abdul Matin Khasru died on Wednesday afternoon while undergoing treatment at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in the capital.
He breathed his last around 4:50pm, deputy attorney general A M Amin Uddin Manik confirmed the matter to Jago News.
Earlier on Tuesday morning, the newly elected president of the Supreme Court Bar Association was put on life support after his physical condition deteriorated.
He was admitted to CMH on March 16 after he had tested positive for coronavirus.
An Awami League MP from Cumilla-5, Abdul Matin Khasru served the first Sheikh Hasina cabinet as law minister from 1997 to 2001.
