Shops, shopping malls to remain open from 9am to 5pm

The government has decided to keep open the shops and shopping malls from 9am to 5pm from April 9 to April 13.
Cabinet division issued a gazette notification in this regard on Thursday. The decision will be effective till April 13, it said.
It also said, legal action will be taken if anyone doesn’t follow the health guidelines.
Earlier, the shops and markets were ordered to be closed during the seven-day lockdown.
Shop owners and workers across the country hold protest, demanding immediate reopening.
The government has imposed a 7-day countrywide lockdown starting from Monday primarily.
