26 get life imprisonment for murder in Khulna

A court has sentenced 26 people to life term imprisonment and acquitted four people in a case filed for the murder of Bani Molla.
Judge Md Nazrul Islam Hawladar of Khulna Speedy Trial Tribunal, passed the order on Wednesday.
The people who got life term imprisonment are Mofiz Biswas, 40, Alam Sheikh, 39, A Salam Sheikh, 42, Shariful Kha, 44, Mamun Khan, 39, Ashik Shikder, 33, Sohel Shikder, 27, Sabuj Sheikh, 22, Sabuj Molla, 32, Khalid Molla, 26, Khokon Molla, 55, Kibria Molla, 50, Sadi Sheikh, 18, Ahadul Sheikh, 23, Imdad Sheikh, 27, Shariful Molla, 53, Bappi Sheikh, 34, Sufian Kha, 43, Ashraful Kha, 37, Anwar Molla, 45, Runju Mplla, 38, Dulal Kha, 50, Shiplu Khan alias Pikul Khan, 23, Ujjal Talukder, 37, Ashik Molla, 23, and Md Azad Sheikh, 37.
The acquitted people are Babu Molla, 27, Rakibul Molla, 35, Md Milon Sheikh, 38 and Selim Molla, 52.
On May 11 in 2019, Bani Molla, son of Md Hasim Molla, was killed by some miscreants over pre-enmity. After two days of the incident, Bani’s father filed a case accusing 32 people.
On July 25 in 2020, Md Ikram Hossen, Investigation Officer and Inspector of Kalia Police Station, submitted a charge sheet to the court.
