2 boys killed in Natore road crash

Two boys were killed as a truck rammed their bicycles at Chinir Battola on Bagha-Lalpur road in Lalpur upazila on Saturday afternoon.

The deceased are Nirob, 13, and Akash, 10.

Lalpur police officer-in-charge Abdul High Talukdar said Nirob and Akash were going to Lalpur riding two bicycles in the afternoon.

When they reached Chinir Battola, a speeding truck hit their bicycles at about 3:30pm, leaving the duo injured.

Later, local people rescued them and took them to Lalpur Upazila Health Complex where doctors declared them dead.
