SP Babul being interrogated: Home Boss

Superintendent of Police Babul Akter who is in police custody is being interrogated, said Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal on Saturday.

He confirmed the information to the reporters at a program held at Dhaka Club at noon.

Home Minister said, Babul was taken to interrogate and detect three accused who was detained in connection with the killing of Babul wife’ Mahmuda Khanom Mitu.

Earlier Babul was taken to Detective Branch of Office in Dhaka from his father-in-law’s resident in the capital Kakoli area at 12.15 on Friday.

Confusing information’s was spread out about the incident. 

Unidentified miscreants gunned down Mahmuda Khanam Mitu at the city’s GEC intersection while she went there to drop her son, Mahir Akhter, 7, for a bus to Chittagong Cantonment Public School and College.
