SP Babul taken to Chittagong

Superintendent of Police Babul Akter, husband of Mahmuda Khanom Mitu who was killed by miscreants on June 5 in Chittagong, was brought to Chittagong under police custody, it is learnt.

Cleared statements regarding this matter were not found following this matter.

Earlier Babul was taken to Detective Branch of Office in Dhaka from his father-in-law’s resident in the capital Kakoli area at 12.15 on Friday.

Confusing information’s was spread out about the matter. 

Unidentified miscreants gunned down Mahmuda Khanam Mitu at the city’s GEC intersection while she went there to drop her son, Mahir Akhter, 7, for a bus to Chittagong Cantonment Public School and College.

Detective Branch of Police, Rapid Action Battalion, Central Investigation Department, Police Bureau of Invetsigation and Counter Terrorism Unit are working to find out the matter behind the killing of Mitu jointly.
