Youth found dead in house

Police recovered the body of a young man from his room in Tazumuddin upazila of Bhola on Tuesday morning.

Deceased Pradeep Banik, 30, was the son of Bipul Banik of Golakpur village in the upazila.

Quoting family members, Tazumuddin Police Station officer in-charge SM Ziaul Haque said Pradeep's mother heard a sound of crying from his room on Monday night. Later, she in association with the neighbours broke open the door and found him dead.

Pradeep had long been suffered from mental disease that led him to commit suicide by cutting his hand's vein with a chopper, the family members claimed, OC Ziaul added.

The body was, however, sent to Bhola Sadar Hospital morwue for autopsy, the police official also said.
