Five Bangladeshis killed in Oman road accident

Five Bangladeshi nationals were killed and several others injured in a fatal road accident in Oman on Saturday.

All the deceased, Md Omar Faruque, Minhaz, Mamun, Milad and Rubel, hailed from Sandwip upazila of Chattogram district.

The families of the deceased, and Bangladeshi expatriates in Oman said the five people met their tragic end in Duqm of the country around 4am (local time) when they were returning after catching fish in the Arabian Sea.

In the accident, five others, also hail from Chattogram, received serious injuries.

Later, they were admitted at Intensive Care Unit of a hospital. Among them, two are in critical condition.
