Truck hits auto-rickshaw, kills 3

Three people were killed and four others injured as a truck rammed into a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Bakalia Police Station area of Chattogram city on Thursday midnight. 

The deceased were identified as Md Ohid Mia, 55, Md Shahid, 62, and Md Abdul Mannan, 40. Among them, Ohid was driver of the auto-rickshaw.

Chattogram Medical College Hospital police outpost in-charge Md Zahirul Haque Bhuiyan confirmed this to Jago News.

He said a sand-laden truck hit a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in front of Rahattarpool Blooming Community center, leaving seven critically injured.

They were rushed to CMCH where the on-duty doctors declared three dead, he added.
