3 killed as truck hits pickup van

At least three people were killed and two others injured as a truck hit a pick up at MC Bazaar area of Shreepur upazila in Gazipur on Wednesday morning.

Officer-in-Charge of Mawna Highway Police Station Hafizur Rahman said a collision took place between a truck and a pick up at MC Bazaar of Shreepur, leaving the front part of the pickup turtle that killed three dead on the spot and two injured.

The deceased could not be identified immediately. The injured were admitted to Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital.
