Opening of Padma Bridge by June next year: Quader

Road Transport an Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has said four mega projects, including Padma Bridge, will be inaugurated by June next year.

"Works of Dhaka Elevated Expressway, Metrorail, Padma Bridge and Karnaphuli tunnel are going on. Our efforts are on to open all these projects by June next year," he said.

He, also general secretary of ruling Awami League, said this while briefing reporters at his Secretariat office on Sunday morning on contemporary issues. 

The minister also talked about implementation of the government's election promises, the country's success in fight against coronavirus, and economic recovery during th pandemic led by Prime Minister, and advancement towards digital Bangladesh.
