No more new medical college: Nasim

Health Minister Mohammad Nasim on Tuesday said his government has not taken any decision to construct new medical college now. An enough number of medical colleges were constructed across the country.

In response to the question of lawmaker Salma Islam, the minister informed this to the Jatiya Sangsad on Tuesday.

The government has taken initiatives to increase the facilities of the doctors who served in root levels to ensure the medical treatment, he said in response to the question of another lawmaker M Abdul Latif.

He said, government has different planning to resolve the problem of the doctors of upazila health complexes.
