Mahila Parishad President Ayesha Khanam dies

Ayesha Khanam, President of Bangladesh Mahila Parishad and a freedom fighter, died early Saturday. She was 74.
She was admitted to the BRB Hospitals in Dhaka after she felt sick where doctors declared her dead.
Maleka Banu, General Secretary of Mahila Parishad, confirmed the death to Jago News.
Ayesha’s body will be taken to her hometown Netrokona. She will be buried at her family graveyard after a namaz-e-janaza
She was born at Gabragati in Netrokona on October 18 in 1947.
